Jush is from the island of Guam and started dancing at the age of 13. He grew up competing and performing in plays and showcases as an ensemble dancer all over Guam and in the U.S. He trained and took many years of workshops in “SourceDance” and “PULSE.” He also took classes in L.A., such as at Millenium and at the Edge.
Jush has acquired many awards in dance competitions, such as “Best Choreography,” “1st Place Overall and Platinum Award for Solo,” “National Champions,” and “Hip Hop Champions.” Also, one of his choreographed pieces, “FEEDBACK,” was awarded to be performed at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, to be showcased in front of hundreds of people.
Jush started teaching at the age of 17 at dance studios all over Guam and California, and has since then fallen in love with teaching. He teaches jazz funk, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and gymnastics. He has been working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for two years and had the opportunity to travel the world doing what he loves to do most, dance!
Currently, Jush lives in San Diego and dances for Sea World. He also teaches dance and gymnastics all over the city. He hopes to train more dancers and have them excel to the best of their abilities.
